Artist's Description
Red fox in Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Preserve in Denver Colorado USA. I had walked around a prairie dog community when I heard a lot of alarm calls from the community. As I turned I saw this fox running toward me with a prairie dog in its mouth. The tall grass made for a tricky photo shot getting a piece of the fox in focus while on the move.
About Patrick Nowotny
I have traveled to Alaska, Greece, Africa, Costa Rica, Canada, Chile, Brazil, Italy and Australia. Living in the US I spend a lot of time in Colorado and from there to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. Along the way I look for other wildlife refuges or reserves to visit and see what these places have to offer. I have created a new collection - Blue Moose Restaurant - for those who have seen my work there in Breckenridge, CO. Enjoy and any feedback would be welcomed. With the onset of the Pandemic I have also been working with macro and still life photography.
