As with every photographer some of the best light is at sunrise and sunset. The warm rich golden glow of an autumn sunrise can be some of the best. As with this photo of a Great Horned Owl in the Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge in Green River, Wyoming USA. I saw this Great Horned Owl as I was walking in the woods there. I couldn’t believe the rich colors of the autmun leaves from the rising sun’s warm glow.
I have traveled to Alaska, Greece, Africa, Costa Rica, Canada, Chile, Brazil, Italy and Australia. Living in the US I spend a lot of time in Colorado and from there to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. Along the way I look for other wildlife refuges or reserves to visit and see what these places have to offer. I have created a new collection - Blue Moose Restaurant - for those who have seen my work there in Breckenridge, CO. Enjoy and any feedback would be welcomed. With the onset of the Pandemic I have also been working with macro and still life photography.
